The Definition of Done (DoD) is a list of criteria that user stories should fulfill. If a user story does not fulfill the criteria of the Definition of Done in the end of a sprint, it will go back to the Product Backlog. When all user stories in a Sprint Backlog meet the Definition of Done then an increment is complete.
