Scrum is based on three pillars: Transparency, Inspection or Adaptation. The work process and the work results must be transparent for all project participants so that the project risk can be reduced. Inspection of work processes or work results without transparency is misleading and wasteful in identifying opportunities for support. In case of undesirable project outcomes, the Scrum team must have the power to adapt (learn from problems) according to the new problem and context to achieve more desirable product outcomes. Continuous feedback from stack holders enables the team to inspect and adapt to new problems. On the other hand, feedback allows stack holders to understand which projects and tasks you are investing your money in.
Scrum was designed on the basis of Empiricism & Lean Thinking.
