What are Scrum artifacts in Scrum?

In the Sprint Retroperspective, the workflows, the use of tools, communication problems are analyzed and optimization potentials are identified. The Scrum Master organizes the meeting and invites Product Owner and development team. Suggestions for improvement for the team and each individual team member are worked out. The timebox for the retrospective should be three hours long for a four-week sprint.

The Product Backlog (task list of the entire product) with the achievable Product Goal or product objective. Sprint Backlog (task plan during the sprint) with the sprint goal. The Increment is the result of a Sprint and must follow the quality criteria of the Definition of Done. The artifacts create transparency so that project participants (stack holders and developers) understand which goals apply to the product, the sprint, and the increment.
